Peg, I remember us running down to Perkins Ave to catch a bus to Spellman. The driver would even wait as one of us was always running behind.
I thought that bus took us to in front of the BPM where we changed for THE Spellman bus.
AND, I definitely remember you doing your make up on the bus. Particularly, and this was the scarey/fascinating part, you would delicately separate mascara-clumped eyelashes with a straight pin, while riding on the bumpy streets. I still can't believe you never blinded yourself.
